WE WATCH WHALES ..... GUARANTEED!!

All SeaKing Adventures Tour departures are dependent upon favorable weather and marine conditions prevailing. Although rain is generally not a problem (our boat can be covered), wind and fog, etc. will force a tour cancellation or postponement.

SeaKing Adventures Whale Watching tours are further dependent upon wildlife sightings and activities. We will not conduct a whale watching tour unless whales are in the area. If whales are not in the area, the following options will be available:

weather permitting, participate in a 2 hour wildlife adventure tour ADULTS $60.00 YOUTH $45.00

Whales, however, are wild animals and on very rare occasions our information can be faulty. If a whale watching tour fails to see whales, the following options will be available:

• receive a free pass (no expiration date) until you do see whales
• pay only for the 2 hour wildlife adventure tour

Because whale tours in Victoria are dependent on weather and wildlife conditions, payment is not processed until the time of departure. Please arrive one half hour before scheduled departures to facilitate the processing of payment, paperwork, cruiser suit fittings and pre-trip briefings/info sessions.

If you are coming to Victoria for the express purpose of viewing whales, we suggest planning a 3 day stay. Many of our Bed & Breakfast partners have whale watching packages and all will be happy to make arrangements on your behalf. Our spotters spot whales from high points around the Victoria area and relay information on to Sea King Adventures, allowing them to guarantee whale sightings to customers.

On days that the spotters do not see whales in the area, Sea King Adventures will offer a wildlife tour instead.

Ron King

"The Legendary Captain" Ron King, Owner Operator of Sea King Adventures, has over 35 years of experience in the beautiful waters around Victoria and Vancouver Island. He is a certified Master Skipper with The distinction of being Victoria's most knowledgeable marine naturalist and conservationist .

Since starting SeaKing Adventures in 1995 Ron boasts a perfect safety record.

Born and raised in Victoria, Captain Ron has over 30 years of professional marine experience - including 25 years of commercial fishing and 11 years whale watching.

Like his father before him, going to sea is the only life he’s known. He began his career as a deckhand on board his father’s fishing boat "Five Kings II" at the tender age of 11. By the time he was 20, he owned and operated his first fishing vessel, "Aquarius".

In 1995, with the commercial fishery in decline, he discovered his passion and purpose in whale watching and founded SeaKing Adventures Inc.

Because SeaKing Adventures is Victoria’s only 100% family owned and operated marine tour company, Ron’s commitment to quality, safety and satisfaction is guaranteed! His central location on board the vessel allows him to provide Victoria’s most comprehensive fully narrated, totally interactive and personalized tours.
